Meet Our Orthodontist

Recognized as one of the best orthodontists in the United States, Dr. Bishop loves being an orthodontist and has been practicing orthodontics for almost thirty years. His areas of specialization in orthodontics include early childhood growth and development, orthognathic surgery, TMJ therapy, and multi-disciplinary treatment for adults and children.

After graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry, one of the leading orthodontic training programs in the world, Dr. Bishop was one of the youngest graduates in orthodontics in the United States. After finishing his education, Dr. Bishop worked with the renowned Dr. Larry Wolford, one of the most outstanding oral surgeons in the world. The two of them have treated one of the largest number of orthodontic/orthognathic surgery cases in the country. Dr. Bishop has been responsible for the orthodontic training of orthodontists on a local and national level and is recognized nationally as a specialist in orthodontics.

Dr. Bishop, a native of Lampasas, Texas, is a graduate of the F.A.C.E. foundation, one of the most distinguished orthodontic institutes in the United States. He has been asked to speak to over 20 professional groups around the world regarding the field of orthodontics over the past two decades. Dr. Bishop believes in family first and feels his greatest blessing is his lovely wife of over 30 years, Shirlene. Dr. Bishop loves the outdoors and stays active participating in skiing, biking, hiking, church and of course, his family. The Bishops have two children, Allyson and Ryan.
